Who’s in charge here?

I’m Southern. I’m an introvert. I’m married (to BHE) with two wild boys (the Monkey and the Bear) and I love my family. In May 2009 I took up embroidery, and haven’t looked back. I love trying new recipes – and blogging about the results. I’m into music – I’m a percussionist in a local community band, and I’ve played piano off and on since I was 8. I also love to take the occasional photo, particularly of landscapes or random objects.

This is an awesome website. Just stumbled across it while doing a search for the pot of gold pattern to finish decorating…Absolutely awesome website. I am the grandmother of 8 who are 5 hrs. away but still love to decorate…

I agree that this is a fantastic website and YOU are an amazingly inventive woman and mother! Wow! I love all the cooking stuff, and your artistry is out of this world. Thanks for sharing this with me! 🙂

  3. Hi Emily! I just found your contact and blog link thru Flickr… which I had not checked in a few months. Wow! Love your blog and what a great way to showcase your work! Thanks for adding me as a Flickr contact, too. Your shots are very nice, and show off your talents quite well. I am just beginning my blog journey and enjoying it so much. 🙂 — ds
