Vintage Monday: Cool Crewel Unicorn

So, if you’ve been around long enough (or know me in real life), you’ll know that I have two boys and therefore live in a very male-dominant household. So sometimes I go a little gaga for the girly stuff, and love that Bookworm Bethie posted this in the Flickr pool:

Bethie’s mom made it for her when she was a little girl. She’s got more details on this piece, and another childhood piece, over at her blog.

My mother did the most wonderful cross-stitch ballerinas when I was a girl – I wonder if she kept them around. Do you still have things that a relative (mom, grandma, dad even) made for you as a child? Post them in the <a href="“>Vintage Monday flickr pool, and/or comment below!
